Anywho, I made a new avatar! I really like it...I kinda liked it more without the black border but eh I'm stuck with it now and i'm not going to fix it (cuz I'm lazy and didn't put the black border in a different layer so i can't easily delete it). I tried to make a similar avatar but all I had at my disposal was paint so...yeah guess how that turned out.

I am finally done my tutoring job! I did enjoy doing it, and it was the easiest job I've ever had (and one of the more enjoyable) but I'm not a morning person. I hated having to wake up at 7 every morning during school and before tutoring I was really looking forward to sleeping in a lil'...well now that tutoring's over I can! Yay! ^_^.

I've been drawing a lot lately. I'm currently working on a few chibi-ish things (waiting for students to show up for tutoring gives one plenty of time to think up silly things to draw), and I'll (hopefully) start a few projects I have in mind...they are mostly realistic drawings that I've been wanting to do for a while, including one of my aunt, uncle, and their son (whose been having mental and physical problems since he's been born, the poor guy). Said drawing would make an excellent christmas present, so I have to start now in June to give it a remote chance of ever being completed. I can't write poetry though...I mean, I'm sure I could if I tried (and I really should try), it's just that few things inspire me, and when I do I'm usually at work or at school or I have to clean the house or other excuses. I think I should get a little voice recorder, that would help a lot. *note to self, get off lazy ass and do something productive*

Well, now that tutoring is over, I have to concentrate on saving up and preparing for my three month stay in St. Pierre, a french island off the coast of Newfoundland. I have to stay there for a semester for my French major, and I'm really excited about it. I believe I have made enough with my tutoring to pay for the "tuition" part, now I need to save up for things to bring there and for spending money. The only downfalls about this trip are that I can't come back to Newfoundland during the semester to visit my parents or my boyfriend and I will only have limited access to the internet...dunno how in the hell I will survive.

And on that note, I must get off my lazy butt and wake up my brother so we can clean up the house before my parents get home and skin us both.
